Broadcasts are text messages sent to a process and forwarded to all connected clients. They can be used, for example, to document actions in the process log.
Note
Broadcasts can also be used to log events in the measuring data – for example using EtherLab's Data Logging Service (DLS).
The SendBroadcast widget sends a broadcast when clicked.
The Broadcasts dock lists all received broadcasts together with their data source. Clear empties the list.
